Im having the same dramas.my VY2 sits for 3 days and the battery will drain.Its ok if it gets driven every day. I have seen a flashing security light(not the imboliser light).

It was a very flat battery,I charged it for a day and it`s all good so far

Ive parked my car for over a week and tried to open it today.It wouldnt open with the remote or key, except the tailgate.I climbed in to try and open the door with no luck and tried to start it and got nothing,no ignition lights either.Whats the story?

I took the pulleys off and popped the seals,all bearings had no play in them and were greased,with my un trained ear,i`m thinking power steering pump.

I sprayed them,however there was no silence so I will take the belt off.How long do you think I can drive it for.Its not squealing YET.

Dirty or loose starter motor connection.its located underneath the left exhaust manifold

Problem just started with the Vy2. i turned the ignition on to kick the motor over.nothing happened for 3 turns and the motor fired on the 4th go.since then,starting the motor has been a bit rough.sounds like a starter motor to me.any other ideas

Talking about relays,I just replaced the high speed blower relay,I`m wondering if the aerial would be on the same circuit,I will check.

On my wh stato,i took out the cooler and replaced it with flexi hose.didnt have any dramas,however i wasnt driving in too much city stuff

Its a gmh aerial.i took it out and pulled the mast up and disconnected the power but left the aerial lead connected.i will replace it when it gets snapped.

I did that and there was no electric motor noise.

Just bought a VY 2 wagon.the aerial mast wont come up.however it does on occasions but goes straight back down.any suggestions?
