The buffeting will drive you insane if you spend a lot of time with the windows down so if the weathershields will help I would definitely get them.

Ditto. My ute is white and I reckon it works well with the thunder rims, the body stays looking clean and so does the wheels lol. Don't have to worry about swirl marks or light scratches either.

Silver in my experience is excellent at hiding dirt and staying clean. My last car was silver and I could literally not wash it for months and it still looked clean.

Neither Holden or Ford manufacture their own seats. They basically get the upholstered seat assemblies from their supplier and bolt them into vehicles.
