Hey mate I have king spring SL with Monroe gt sports all round in my s2 calais. Handles well but took the calais comfyness away which I kindy miss. So if you don't mind it being not as comfy then you could go down that road.

Wow very old thread lol, the springs need to settle, mine did the same when I first put them in but settle a little bit after a few weeks. Have a look at my thread for pics of how it sits after settling.

I didn't put one in mine but if I was to go lower I would put one in as no inner wear yet but any lower it would.

Nice clean calais mate, mines on SL's with Munroe gt sport short shocks handle well. Any plans to delete the wing? Smooths the rear end on them nicely. Get a tune otr etc and youll be laughing, big improvement once I got mine tuned, so much better to drive.

On SL as well but had 2 people in back boot full of stuff and nearly full tank of petrol. He said 5-10mm to low. Oh well

Well small update got my first fine for being to low on the weekend, think he was trying to get my for dui as was cruising around goldcoast at night but wasn't drinking so get me for that, mongrel. On a better note the queen of all that is love and war has given the ok to spend a bit of coin...

As what edals said, mine was doing this, I adjusted the handbrake using the cog at the rotors and fixed it up. I went as far as pulling off the rotor and disc and gave the hand brake assembly a good clean from all the dust.

If your lowering make sure you do lowered shocks n struts as well you will regret it otherwise, ride will be terrible and you have to pull the struts out anyway so might aswell do all at once. Cost will be more initially but you will need to replace the shocks shortly down the track as they flog...

Well bit of an update finally getting the car tuned, going with a remote autocal tune from Oztrack, just waiting on the first flash to come back. Also need to replace the strut top mounts, caster bushes an front lower control arm bushes so should keep me entertained for a bit. I'm going to be...

I did this a few weeks ago to mine, it not that hard to do. I pulled my calipers and discs off to give it all a good clean inside as mine was not working either, works a treat now.

Well did the install of the extractors and cats this long weekend, sounds great now. Thinking about changing the exhaust from the xforce to something else or just making one up, don't want to 3" yet 2.5" is loud enough when you get under her. Def goes better with the new extractors n cats...

LOL exactly the same as mine except mines got the LS1, take a look for ideas of what it looks like with wheels and lowered, they even look good on the stock rims lowered.

Need to get a set of extractors and cats as its got the std manifolds and cats on atm, hopefully have those on in next months or two. Then want to get a tune, just ya basic power mods for these, would love a cam, stall and gears but thats a while away yet.
