I think you've been had, pretty sure there are sensors before the lines that sense when a car is over it.

I have the biggest off the shelf crow cam but for the buick motor, and its not like what was described earlier by Jecs work mate. Its different but not like a V8.

Ive got them sitting here at home. Mates got them on his vr and says there great. Only thing im doing is getting better pads to use as the ones that come with it are dodgy.

You make it sound easier than it is. We did mine at my mates mechanic workshop on hoist with all the tools. Absolute **** of a job. Eveyone said it was gonna be a stuggle and it was. We had to drop the extractors aswell on mine.

v6 is 60 an v8 is 65, and what kritical said is correct.

hot tip... its a **** act to change the mounts aswell, we did had to pull heaps of stuff of just to get at the bolts.

pretty sure it wont fit as the housing is different, I was looking at doin the opposite for mine when it busted

Doesnt it show on a dyno readout as more power though? I know its not making more power at the motor but dosent it multiply the power at the wheels?

My VR V6 made 131.6 rwkws a few weeks back, but its got more than new plugs and leads ;)

yeah what he said, but then again it could happen anytime so dont stress out too much.

Could be the exhaust hiting floor and other things aswell.

well im not sure if u can get 2.75" pipe but i know u can get 3" pipe and i doubt very much they would fit tightly over the 2.5" pipe. It cost me $60 to get my ressi taken off and a pipe welded on.

I dont rate it mate, looks tacky.

Had a run on the dyno today as you can see. Still a few more things to sort out but its slowly getting there. Im pretty happy with how its all going.

is this the sickest VS in the universe? no, but its nice in its own way.

Nah mate it had a 2.5 catback on it before all the work. When the engine got rebuilt it needed extractors. The exhaust shop happened to be right next door so he knew what my car was getting done to it, so we decided to use the cat back and chuck another cat on because of the extractors are...

Ive put a about 3,000k's on this thing now and it hauls. Idle is still playin up but were workin on it, it still looks like it will be the chip but time will tell. Hopefully lined up a LSD for it too and should be upgrading the brakes around tax time:). Overall im pretty happy with the car now...

Well i got it back yesterday after the rebuild and its sooo much better, pulls heaps hard and i havent even used full throttle yet. There is a problem with the idle atm but i looks like the chip will be sent to chiptorque to be modified. The 1st to 2nd gear change is heaps punchy. Have to get it...

yeah for sure but the box and diff will hate u. If u drive it "normal" it will be fine.

Id go 4. Ive got a 2 point pedders kit and its ****, still got heaps of camber. Ive been told 4 point kits have abit more adjustment but of course they cost a fair bit more.

I have a fair few scratches both surface and deep The best option was to get a new bumper for bout $220 for a brand new one from holden and get it sprayed.

Not really, its the same as VS models and on the ones that aren't standard it was an option.

If they were gonna spray the patch they would spray a large part of the bumper blending it in anyways. U might aswell just get the whole thing resprayed for the best finish. Thats my opinion anyways. Hope it helps
