hey guys i want to put a v8 in to my vl i have read that you have to modify your engine bay witch i dont want to do that i want to know what v8 will just bolt in with out to many problems if you could give some ideas of what motor willl just bolt in it is for my project car cheers kris..

Ok just to clear every thin up it was just a idea that was floating around in me head becouse i had seen a bonnet on ebay with it on there and it got me thinking about what it would look like on my car and thats it. So thanks for the advise i didnt think that it was going to start a war.

Ive seen a vr bonnet with a xr8 bulge on it people may think thats itd stupid becouse its for a for but i was just wondering what it would look like if it would be nice or **** if any one has done this post a pic of what it looks like i want to see if it looks good or ****.

not yet im looking for what size springs to get so ssl would do the job and then i have to get short shocks it just the back that i want to do as the front sits just on the wheel its just the back sits a bit to high and it looks crap cheers

ok i need help i want to go and buy king springs for my rear but i dont know what size to get im running 18 ve rims and i want the guard to hug the tire so what size springs should i get i have super low in at the moment in the rear and it sits to high so should i get ultra low or ssl.

So i have to get a aerial module and then i can put it in will the up and down buttons work or am i better of going and getting a aftermaket one that just goes up when the radio is on sorry for hacking your thread vs97s2

So does that mean that all the wiring should be in there some where i have swaped my raidio and i carnt find any plugs to hook uo to the up and down buttons there is clips for power windows but no aerial so does that mean i have to make my own wiring loom

What wiring harness did you use to hook it up as i want to put in electric aerial in and i have a mid bcm and i have been told it can not be done

ive done spray painting at tafe and they wont have to respray the hole side of the car they should be able to blend it in

Hey mate its kris you helped me with a question about power windows in my vr acclam and my bcm is mid so that means that i can run power windows im so happy that u can do it thanks for all help

yea will for sure ill check when my father in law gets home coz it has power at the fuse box under the dash so my fingers are crossed that i can then its just a hunt to track down power window wiring loom
