i have a gas system that i took out of a vr commodore it is a complete system it even has all the bolts nuts and washers. 60L Manchester gas tank, all gas lines, converter, filler neck, switches, fuses and gauges and wiring loom. what would be a good asking price for it??

It is a 4hdd. Is it possible to put the plug in wrong or brake the pins?

I have put the vr crank angle sensor in, would you suggest I get a vp 1?

Done the paper clip trick it brought up codes 59,67 and 82 wich I believe is all codes for the transmission. Would they stop the car having spark? I'm going to check all the connectors tomorrow n see how I go.

Ok thanks ill try removing paint and see if it makes a difference

Also the car had spark before, had issues with the engine so got a engine off a mate was out of a vp commodore put everything on how it was on my engine and put it in and now the sparks gone, if that helps you solve my problem.

I don't have a scanner to check codes, if I buy one what sort would you recommend to do the job?

My commodore will crank over but won't start, have narrowed it down to no spark, have changed the coils an dfi module, the main fuse, have tested the wires with a test light and it has power every were even the plug that goes into the dfi module has power to it but car has no spark, please help me.

Checked all the wires, does the coil packs and dfi module earth to the bracket they are mounted on? If so would that bracket being painted stop the car from getting spark?

Have changed all three coils and dfi module still have nothing. Would it effect the computer and stop it from starting if its got no transmission in?
