I think the only thing to make it better would be to make it a bit longer and move the rear wheel and boot further back on the side shots because it looks like a Honda Civic or something. Front and back look ok though.
I used 4 allen keys because it was more sturdy than coat hanger wire which was the only other thing I could find at the time.
This pic is a side view of the stereo, the black bit should be fixed to your car and the two circles are the clips (2 on each side of stereo) you need to push with the...
I have replaced the factory one. The important part is DO NOT CUT THE ORIGINAL LOOM -use an adapter.
That way you set those specific settings you will loose how you want them before you remove the stereo. Then if you really want to change one of those settings later on you can just undo the...
Hi
Anyone know what this rubber tube thing is and where it belongs?
It came off when I removed the engine cover which you can see is off in this picture, it came from somewhere toward the front I think, flicked up then fell down to the ground. The engine is a 190kw version. I looked...
Hi, does anyone know how to remove the Headlight Switch
Do you remove the two screws (red arrows) then the plastic surround (blue line) will just come out? Then you can push the switch out from the rear?
Also is it easy enough to replace the LEDs with a soldering iron or better to just...
I put this up a little while ago, maybe it will be of some help to you. Let me know

I thought I would make a quick post on changing the fuel filter with a few pictures as well since there doesn't seem to be any threads anywhere with pictures. Hopefully it will be of use to someone and save yourself some coin by doing the job at home. Also do this at your own risk, If you...
I have the 190 in an SV6. I tried over decent periods of time running the different fuels. I found 95 to get the most km/l and stuff all difference with the 98. 91 isn't quite as economical as the 95 but when you factor the difference in price compared to fuel used, its actually cheaper to run...
How many Km's has the car done?
If your brave enough just service it yourself, you can find most info on this site or get a manual that will tell you how to do most things.
The GPS went in where the storage compartment with the spring door thing is under the stereo. I believe you can remove that compartment and replace it with the GPS fitting.
keep your factory stereo too, there are some settings you can only adjust when that is connected to the car
(for that reason use an adapter to connect the new stereo rather than cutting the wires already there)
I suggest reconnect the original harness then use an adapter. Seems that with the adapters most people have to switch the yellow and red wires eg. red wire from stereo connect to the yellow on harness adapter. (that method worked fine in my car)
Anyone have any recommendations?
Also can you only get the rear wheels done? My last set of tyres the fronts have worn very evenly although the rears have both worn much more on the inside.
V6? Cooling system (eg. heater tap, water pump) tends to **** itself around 120-130,000km
I've replaced those and the radiator.
Lot's of people say the engines are prone to sludging too if not regularly serviced.
VZ spare wheel tyre diameter is not the same as the other 4 tyres (not a small space saver either)
If this is on the rear wheel is it at all bad for the LSD Diff, or is it ok for a certain amount of Km's etc??
