yeah i looked and there was nothing from stopping the pads moving inwards they just lean/move towards the rotor thought the mechanism was similar to bikes were when brake isnt applied the pads are separated from rotor

just checked and it was the brake pads dont know why it still makes noise when the brake isnt applied
