Ok - thanks for the info. I happen to have a little UV/black light torch. I think from what I see here there is dye in the gas which would show up where any leak is, so I think tonight I will break that out and see if I can see any leaks as a first.

I did not see if you had tried replacing the sway bar bushes, if you haven’t it’s cheap and possible to do on a flat surface without a jack. They might look fine but if you have tried everything else you should try this. It cured my front end knock and many others.

So got a call. Nothing obvious wrong, checked bushes, droplinks etc and all seem ok. He said he took the top plates off and compressed them a little as they stretch with age but otherwise all fine....we’ll except for my squeaky as hell brakes! So i’ll go for a quick spin this evening and see...

Update: To avoid messing around i am booked in to a local (and well reviewed) mechanic to give the car a suspension inspection. I need to engage a new mechanic as I moved area anyway sot his will prove out a good initial test! Goes in Wednesday so will update then.

I’m running 34 psi in the standard SSV alloys, I think that’s the recommended pressure? Strut tops were replaced, I’m going to have to have a real poke around and see if I can see anything.
