Thanks for all of the responses. Admittedly I didn't buy an 'SUV' for it's off road capability. I bought it more for it's practicality, towing capacity, reasonably compact size etc. Unlikely to ever take it on anything more than an unsealed track so off road tyres are not a consideration...

How about wheels? Same stud pattern and offset? I read that G8's have a 5x120.65 stud pattern? Is this just a metric-imperial-metric conversion differential and the same as our 5x120? What about bore/hub sizes?
