The passenger side mirror no longer goes up and down but goes in and out. Note if I put the car in reverse, the mirror also no longer goes down to show the kerb like it used to. Any ideas.

I have found that part number for the VF windscreen washer nozzle. It is a Nice Products part number NWN7017. Unfortunately no suppliers including Nice Products have stock of this part at the moment but I will continue to obtain it.

Thanks for all the responces but what I am after is the part number of the washer jet/nozzle. My research has found replacements for a VE but nothing for a VF and of course they are different. I am trying to avoid installing an generic jet from Ebay assuming that is feasible.

Have experience this message several times when the steering is on full lock when shutdown and then when restarting the car this message appears. Turned the wheel away from full lock and turned off engine and restarted and message no longer appears.

Black Reflectors in S1 were standard in Calais and Calais V models and silver were on sports models. Not sure about the evoke or S2 models. Some special models during S1 period also had black reflectors.

Agreed, rats and mice have also attacked some wiring in the Series 1 wagon and the MSE has had its wiper reservoir cap attacked and some of the engine bay insulation attacked. Not happy Jan !!

Yes torque converter was replaced and is no longer leaking. The AC lines were also replaced which a common issue with VF's and I also had these replaced under warranty. The repair was expensive as the torque converter was $960 alone, I could have got it on Ebay for $850 and the stealership...

Having replaced the cabin filter in a VF series 1 and 2, it is a similar procedure but much more difficult in the Series 2. Note the series 2 was a V8 and I am not sure if this makes any difference and do not buy the standard holden filter as it is rubbish. This is a good thread on this forum...

I should have added that this car has a history of using oil and it does not leak onto the floor. I now have to put about 1-2 litres every 10-15k. I have just assumed that it was burning it via the exhaust.
