Yeah unfortunately as i have a non-V calais I have the non-bose stereo. I guess the only practical way is to use line level converters. But won't that affect the front and reverse sensor beepers? They're loud enough as it is.

I've had the exact same thing with my V6, replaced the radiator cap. All fine now.

Should be fine. I swapped my VYII Calais tail lights for ones from a VZ Calais, and they fit perfect. BTW look much better too!

Another +1 for RDA rotors: I had terrible shudder from the crappy OEM discs, after changing to these, 20,000km in they are great!

Just reporting back, mine has stopped doing it... I think it may have been bad gas, ran it down till nearly empty and refilled. No more noise! (touch wood).

I'm also experiencing the same issue, almost sounds like something is rubbing on the front left tyre! I'm assuming it's something to do with the converter and/or the intake system. Not sure where to look though, If anyone has any ideas.....

I have the same issue, however mine is on gas and it throws an 02 sensor code. It only happens on gas while cruising, not on petrol, and it goes away with a blip of the throttle. The sensors have been checked and don't need replacing. It's not hurting the car so i've learnt to live with it.

zachvy4, I had this problem with my old WH v6 statesman a while ago. Nothing wrong with the a/c itself, turns out there is some sort of switch on the back of the a/c unit failed. Was a pretty cheap fix if i remember. Hope This helps

No, it is the other way around, it is like most cars where the dash reads a higher speed than the true speed.

I still think there must be a way. All the dials work as they should, I just don't see why the speed alert is cutting in so early, I've never had this problem on any other car, and that includes a vt commy and a wh statesman. What gives?

Hmm, i don't think that is the issue, when i cycle through police mode, the needle stays on 100 fine. I tried GPS'ing the speed and it is like most other cars, the indicated speed is a couple km'h over the true reading (normal). I'm out of ideas, would a speed calibration via a tech2 fix it?
