That is for me and the potential buyer to discuss, it's not of importance to be discussed between you and I. The rear main seal is irrelevant , a very minor fix once the motor is out. But in saying all that, I am considering keeping the engine and rebuilding it but again that's irrelevant right...

The motor is still in the car, pushed back pulling the engine out for a few more weeks. So you can still see it running and see how it drives. Thanks

The lifters are the only engine fault other then a rear main seal leak. Had the car on a hoist about 1 month ago after I noticed a slight oil leak, my current engine has 230000 km or so and the new one just over 100000 km. A high km senator with noisy lifters will effect the sale price of the...

If anybody else wants to inspect the the motor whilst in the car, be quick. I am taking it out within the next week. I will take a video recording of the motor running also.

Lets see hey! On another note, I ordered a clear LED replacement light for the rear spoiler and should have it in a few days. Will look tops! Very different and dont see them on many holdens or HSVs. I also brought FE2 springs for the front as it is way too low and I am sick of it scraping...

That sucks best of luck, they also barely fit VYs. A lot of fckuing around for fitment. Even then, not perfect.

They look nothing alike, and the set ups are totally different.. Mine goes over the radiator and under the grill for direct air, whist yours just sits on top of the radiator. Yours looks better lol.

Hey guys, I'm upgrading my rear tyres on my 20s on my VY senator. I would love 265 rear tyres but are not sure if they are too wide and will scrub? Alternately I may go with 255/35/20 tyres if they prove to be too wide, I have the standard hsv springs in the rear of my vy. Any suggestions or...

It more then likely would be a shift kid considering it already has a built auto, you can also get it to shift harder with just the mafless tune. Maybe it's both!
