bit of a problem with my Vr 5speed v6 in 1st gear(only gear ive noticed it do it in) once i hit high rpms and plant the throttle It cuts out completly no throttle nothing let back off the throttle and off it goes fine It's running good other then that and ive noticed the check engine light comes...

Well why do you think it is the input shaft bearing? i might just replace both.

Little problem with my vt v6 manual It has a weird noise Coming from the gearbox/clutch area sounds like a bearing maybe it goes in motion with the motor sort of a clacking noise it seems to only get loud when the cars hot been driving for a while the noise does go when the clutch is pushed in...

Hmm interesting Sorta describes my car with the single mass fly wheel maybe it's already been converted i have a bit of gear noise etc And i normally am always in 2nd gear coming out of roundabouts at 40km and maybe the shuddering here and there could be due to the smf?

Ahkay yeah thinking about buying a clutch kit for it with the single mass flywheel replacement anyway.

slightly concerned about the shuddering that my vt is doing it's a v6 manual and it sorta shudders at lower rpms mainly when cruising just easing the throttle , sometimes you come off the throttle and back on and it makes a clunky sorta noise(rarely) any idea?

i only just replaced it with ngk leads and sparkplugs so it's not that havent changed fuel filter i cleaned the throttle body today which helped a bit but still sorta does it.

Hey guys little problem I'm unsure with, when I'm driving along in sorta any gear sometimes the car Sorta jerks a little when just touching the throttle cruising ?? it's really only when your just on the throttle it jerks a little its pretty annoying but I'm not sure if its a concern? it's a v6

just an update it doesn't make any whining noises from what i can hear in any gear so it must not be that.. thinking it may just be gearbox chatter

As i said before it sounds Exactly like a key issue.

sorta sounds like a headers/extractor leak? they normally make a ticking sorta chugging noise when they are leaking a fair bit.

Could be your key man.. The little silver ball flogs out on them causing it to not start properly and eventually not start at all.

hmm okay, i've never really noticed any whining within the gears driving But i will especially try hear it in 4th when i drive it tomorrow and see what happens.

i can't really hear it at all when im driving in any gears, either because the exhaust is to loud or there just is no noise that i hear when it's in neutral.

Hey guys, posted in her recently before about my airbags , they keep getting stuck going down they go up perfectly fine when letting them relise air they sometimes dont work at all then all off a sudden work , airbags are controlled via a switch and they are bolt ins anyone help?

There bolted in, they usually drop pressure from a switch yes. not a solenoid

Just relised that my rear airbags arnt deflating the compressor still kicks in like normal everythings working but it only goes up and doesn't go down? anyone know what could be causing this ? cheers.

Just noticed another problem... lol... When turning the steering moving or stopped it makes a sort of clacking creaking sound?on and off what could that potentially be? removed the 20's on the front since they were scrubbing and bought some 16 innch calais rims they suit it actually.
