How much extra HP will the headers give me? If I leave the existing manifold on, will it restrict the flow too much with a cat-back system (Manta 2-1/2"), or do I need to bite the bullet and get the headers also? I don't want it to be too loud. I live in a quiet neighborhood.
I have a VCM MAF OTR sitting in my garage ready to go in. I've picked my exhaust system and trying to decide on some headers. Once they're all fitted and tuned, I'll revisit the fuel situation.
WTF. When I got my VF SS just before Xmas, I was getting 13's. Did a trip from Sydney to Melbourne and back over Xmas and averaged 10's.
Since after Xmas, all city driving (Sydney), I've been getting 18's.

Same with my manual SS. On a hill or slope, foot on brake, release and holds for a few seconds so you can engage the clutch and not roll back. I love that feature
Nice. I have the same colour. What type headers and exhaust did you put in? I'm looking at the moment to upgrade. I have a VCM OTR ready to go in, but I'm just deciding on a exhaust system before I fit and dynotune.
