Thanks for the info mate! $500 was only for parts, with labor most were asking around the $800 mark, which I think is ridiculous! They are all saying that they require difficult installation into the head unit, and are telling me it is not plug and play. I have already sorted the head unit out...

How much work is in swapping the foam and trim kit from the VF seats over and use them on the VE seats? If wiring is different between all models am I going to have to find the exact seats that are currently in the VE if I want to swap them out and replace them? Thanks for the replies.

Suits the ute much better I think & doesn't hold any where the amount of water the VE maloo hard lid's hold..win win really.

Was lucky enough to pick up brand new VF Maloo hard lid & sailplanes, so ripped the VE stuff off and put the VF gear on..Just tops it off that bit more i think..love it!

Went with a full HM system, now they go by the name of HPX. They made the walkinshaw systems before the current Walky's - and I believe they currently make the HSV stuff. Great quality system as to be expected as it is one of the more pricier systems. Nice extractors bit annoying to install but...

Just a quick update. Fitted up the new exhaust system Went 3" stainless catback with new extractors and high flow cats Beautiful tune, and extremely happy with the extra power gained by the system. Goes in to get an air take and tune in the next couple of weeks..honestly cannot be more stoked...

Ok I've decided to go with the HM exhaust and headers. Just undecided whether to go 1 7/8 or 1 3/4 HM headers. Same price so leaning towards the 1 7/8. At this stage I'm only getting the OTR and tune done. Possibly a cam upgrade in a yr or so. If I go the 1 7/8 do I stand to loose any power...

Here is some updated photos of the ute now. Since my last post I have replaced the side fenders with black, carbon fibre wrapped side mirrors & gotten the HSV Maloo sailplanes and hard cover on Starting to stand out from your ordinary SS ute now, and I'm loving it :)
