Hi everyone Got my 15k service done yesterday and since picking the car up its told me two or three times on the small dash display that I should 'change oil soon'. Any idea why?

I've used both and the newer version from advanced ice is the way to go. The jhp one is very annoying to use and isn't as seamless.

Yes. Sound is just like a factory unit.

No, it starts up and works as normal until you hit 'home' and then it flicks over to nav. Then when you hit back it goes goes out of the nav screen into the normal frontage.

I did extensive research into buying a nav equipped unit from a write off and installing in my SS. The end result was it is a no-go. The good one from all the research is this one: Holden Mylink Integrated Navigation System

Apparently it's because the hardware is made in different places. One is Korean and the other is japenese (I think?). They keep harping on about new apps but I was told that they will be music orientated only. TuneIn radio was one that was mentioned.

Don't like AFM because it saves you fuel?? I've heard a number of different reasons to do it but that one is unique.

Interesting that there is around 46,000 VF commodores on australian roads. Seems high to me as I still don't see that many getting around.

Hi all The only problem I've had so far is the fueling sloshing around. It's not a big deal but can anything be done to fix it? I've owned / drove a number of late model cars and don't buy the line about the VF being the quietest ever and that's why you can hear the fuel sloshing around...

Veessv, Are they the same units as my links in the first post? Only problem with these is the $1500 cost to get one.

The other thing I failed to mention is the app bringgo. This is available on other vehicles with mylink but not the commodore. I've rang holden and they aren't saying yes or no to whether it will be allowed on the mylink system. It's really disappointing that they withhold these things.

Hey Pirate, How do you tune the AFM?

Hi all Just wondering if there is any way to adjust the automatic headlight sensitivity? I haven't owned a holden since 2003 but remember on that VYSS you could go into a menu and adjust. It's not a big deal but I just find it to be too sensitive and turning on and off all the time. Cheers

Can't be done mate. Only way would be to get holden service department to change firmware.

Interesting thing on this issue... I was talking to a guy who upgraded his vf redline audio system. Amongst other things / issues the main thing he mentioned is the Bose speakers he pulled out were garbage. They have the build quality of $100 speakers. He spent $1000 total and put in some good...

You should just get some sound deadener in your doors first. That will give you significantly more punch and mid range. It will also kill off any rattles you get when the speakers are cranked up.

Are you going to run the splits off the amp or just the sub?
