Same issue here, it was my plugs.

At around 140k/Kms mine started missing under acceleration, realised mechanic hadn't changed the plugs at 120k service like he was meant to, did it myself with a manifold gasket change and it ran like new again no missing.

There is a YouTube video of a guy that shows you the process. I followed his instruction when I did mine and finished in a few hrs no problem. Saved myself $200 in labour that Holden wanted to charge me.

I had a similar issue, air coming out windscreen vent whenever put onto feet selector, also a hissing sound from behind the vent selector knob. With a little investigation on here I found the vac actuator had partially failed. $80 part from holden and 30 min of effort and it was fixed.

My water pump went at 130k km, now done 145k km, a month ago within 1 week my heater tap went ($25), then radiator cap broke in half ($20), and vac solenoid ($80) went. Apart from this have barely had an issue with it in the last 7 yrs, touch wood. Been a great car, very reliable.
