    Lease or fleet prices

Suncorp employees can get a GTS from $78,130 on a Novated Lease via Leaseplan. Pity that is still out of my price range but a cracking deal. Sportwagons are in the low to mid $40k's depending on spec which is better than the $47k I got a quote for for a SS Sportwagon through Leaseplan for back...

    Perfect Blue Questions

Perfect Blue is metallic and it definitely has a flake in it. I have a Perfect Blue SSV and you can see it in bright sunlight. I love the colour even more than the Voodoo Blue VE SS Sportwagon one I had previously which has surprised me. I am a massive Peter Brock fan and I believe the colour...

    Who loves their vf?

My Jan 14 build SSV sedan has given me no problems in the 7 weeks I've owned it and I absolutely love it. The two VE's I had were fine too.

    Finally got her! SSV Redline.

Looks fantastic. Was the wait due to the exact spec you wanted or are they low on stock?

I like it! Black wheels get my vote. Well done.

VF Holden Commodore Issues and Faults

My iPhone 5 keeps losing Bluetooth connection. Not in call or anything. However, twice so far the device is not recognised after previously working fine. I have to delete the Mylink connection on my phone and go through the connection process again. I assume it's my phone and not Mylink but will...

New to Holden - VF SSV Redline Fuel Consumption

I haven't yet finished my second tank on my SSV auto sedan yet so too early for me to say. However, my VE SS Sportwagon with AFM cylinder deactivation got around mid 12's if I didn't drive too hard around the burbs with the odd bit of motorway work thrown in. Economy got better as the engine ran...

    VF Model Sales Split

Welcome to the forum. I believe there are plenty in dealers. If you want one you'd be able to source one relatively quickly.

    VF Model Sales Split

I saw a few more on my travels to day around the northern and north west suburbs of Sydney. I discovered a Prussian Steel SV6 sedan lives down the road and around the corner from my place. I also saw the following: Calais V Sportwagon V8 in a shade lighter than Prussian Steel (unsure of...

The Calais cream seat white stripe combo must be an alternate option. My mates Calais V had black seats with a cream stripe.
  14. M

    VF Model Sales Split

BTW the SSV option is for the full Redline interior, dash, doors and seats. That's interesting. I guess Holden must have thought they'd sell more SSV's than Redline's and didn't offer the reverse option. I know they are trying to minimise production variances to keep costs down. I have to say...

    VF Model Sales Split

Thinking about it, to be honest who am I kidding. I couldn't wait a month when there was one there ready to go. I prefer the black but could accept the cream. I would worry about my kids messing it up (rear door cards mainly) and yes it might not wear well in the sun (I park it outside during...

    VF Model Sales Split

I did not know the SSV could be optioned with the Cream stripe on the seats. I assume not the dash and door cards? Sort of moving back to the original topic what is the take up rate? Very low/none? The Redline must have dropped off as reading early threads people were waiting months for...

    VF Model Sales Split

I'm not one for waiting for a car. Anything longer than a week is really too long for me. I agree. I was lucky enough to pick mine up with 3 days but I had been without a SS for over 5 months! My VE SS took about 5-6 weeks which was agony.

    VF Model Sales Split

Well it appears that there is a divergence in opinion. Supposedly Holden offered the SSV interior on the Redline as a delete option I wonder the take up rate? Keeping in mind that at this stage of the model cycle there are plenty of Redline's in dealerships, if you wanted the delete option...

    VF Model Sales Split

I think the cream/white/off white/ivory or the beige looks good in the Calais models. I think it suits my mates Calais V Sportwagon. However, not so keen on it for a sports model. Also, with 3 kids I reckon it would be looking fairly shabby pretty quickly. I still would have bought a Redline and...

    VF Model Sales Split

Interesting point. I would have bought a Redline if I could have afforded one but I'm not keen on the Cream interior and I much prefer the interior in my SSV. I wonder how many people have not bought one because of it. Surely a relatively low percentage?

    VF Model Sales Split

Thanks for that insight. I'm surprised the Ute and Wagon are selling so slowly. The Sydney dealer I bought mine from had lots of stock of both. Perhaps they had been sitting there a while. They had 3 2013 Redline manual sedans also so perhaps they have slowed up. SSV sedan was hardest to get...

    VF Model Sales Split

Hi All, does anyone know what the percentage split of sales is across the various models in the VF range. Good to know as much detail as possible(body style, transmission choice etc). However, I'm mostly interested in the split between models/trim levels. When I bought my SSV a few weeks ago...

What deal did you get on a VF?

Hope you enjoy it as much as I am. You'll have a ball. My mate just signed on for a black V6 Calais V Sportwagon demo with just under 6,000kms on it today from the same salesman I got mine from for $47k on road. Not sure how good a deal that is but it was $2k lower than the advertised...

    Perfect Blue SSV

I should hope so. They are feeling the pressure as another mate of ours got a Redline ute the week before. One of my mates in particular is hopeless. I have no doubt he'll buy a new car so as not to feel left out. I am banking on him for the referral dollars. He has just had twins so is...

    Most popular colour?

Well I've had it just over 48 hours and you were right, I do love it. How good are they and it looks awsome. Tried the auto park this arvo and it worked a treat. I loved the VE SS but I can tell I'll love this one more.

    Perfect Blue SSV

Hmmm...my Birthday is coming up. Might do some investigating. Tried the auto park for the first time to day. As Ace Ventura said..."like a glove"! Two of my knucklehead mates have already visited their local Holden dealer since I picked mine up not wanting to be outdone :rofl2:

    Perfect Blue SSV

I had the pleasure of riding with PB around Eastern Creek for about 3 laps when the Monaro first came out. Great experience. We chatted the whole way and he explained his driving technique and offered some thoughts on the then current Holden and HSV ranges. He had just bought himself a Monaro...

    Perfect Blue SSV

Good idea on the number plates. I'll have to check with the RTA to see if that is available. Also, maybe the Territory should stay out: a) it's a lease b) it's a Ford LoL

    Perfect Blue SSV

Thanks guys for the comments. I'm about to go for a run with my son this morning. Unfortunately won't get to drive it too much over the next week or two as I am away tonight and away for 3 days next weekend at the F1 GP. Oh we'll, it will help keep the miles down! As a massive P Brock fan...

    Perfect Blue SSV

Picked my new baby up today. Absolutey stocked with it. Haven't don many miles yet but she drives and rides really well. I love all the features and the way it looks. The last 5 + months without a SS were long. All better now. Hope the photo's comeout OK. Plans: None! I am going to keep her...

    VF order-wait time

Wait time will be 3 days for me. Placed an order for a Perfect Blue SSV sedan yesterday (jam 14 build they were swapping a red one for with another dealer) and was told the car would not arrive at the dealer until Friday so would be ready for me early next week. The salesman called me this...

    Most popular colour?

I ordered a Perfect Blue SSV sedan this morning. I was flexible on colour and they had one available ;being delivered to the dealer in Friday). It's coming with the optional rear spoiler so I agreed to leave that on. I'm happy with the choice. I had a Voodoo SS Sportwagon previously.

Well done. That's a great deal and good to see a forum member was lucky enough to pick this one up.

What deal did you get on a VF?

Let us know how you get on. I'm hopeful of signing the order form tomorrow on a white SSV manual sedan my local dealer has in stock tomorrow. I'm happy with the price. Fingers crossed my wife doesn't get cold feet. Delivery would only take a couple of days according to the salesman.
