are you sure the SS comes with the HDT plate? i didnt think so.

Customer of mine has a VK that is supposed to be an SS, its had a lot of work done and has all the SS bits and more, (VN heads, high rise manifold ou the bonnet, stroked ect), how do i tell if it is a genuine SS, will the VIN tell me somehow?

lol i know customers tell me all the time, my response is what are you doing there in the first place if your a loyal customer who wants a discount??

trying to install a Yella Terra intercooler on the yella s/c kit on a VU v6 ute. there kit was used to install the charger now we're putting the intercooler on and theres no provision for the bypass valve on the s/c? the intercooler plate blocks it off. anyone know about this?? this is the kit...

to put a mini spool in an lsd you need to get the pins from an open centre to hold the hemisphere, lsd does not have these.

mates VN doesnt want to start from time to time, have installed two second hand starter motors and new ignition barrel with switch, car wont start in P put it in neutral and its starts sometimes you have to try P then N than P again before it will start, am thinking its the switch

of course, what am i thinking, for some reason i thought it was on the box lol

is the neutral safety switch on the VN V6 easy to get to? will i be able to change it using ramps? need to do one in a carpark without access to a hoist and havnt actually looked at how hard it is, any advice?

are the shift kits an easy install, im pritty handy can re-build an engine but never toughed an auto except for servicing

wtf, are you sure you havnt forced the plug on the sender unit on 180deg the wrong way? have never heard of this, obviously like said the polarity is the wrong way around some how youl need to swap it around, if its pluged in correctly you'll need to swap the wires in the plug around as, unless...

can get B&m through work really cheap though, is the transgo really worth it, what benifit will i get with the boost valve and servo on its own?

paid $120.00 of ebay local seller, brand new in boxes he never got round to intstalling, lines are adr aprooved cant remember what brand kit it was, wasnt pbr but it was all good gear incl the pads, had to remove stone gruard but apart from that they whent stait on, makes a massive difference...

Just put the VT big brake upgrade on my VP V6 ute, whilst its fresh in my mind can answer any questions, just in case theres not something already covered on here. one thing i thought id mention is i havnt had to upgrade my master cyl, seams to be a commin question.

lucus oil transmission addative works a treat, just out of interest check the kick down cable isnt sticking depending on what model it is.

i this just when air con is on, or all the time, could be something physically blocking the flap that directs air induction from inside or out, if its only when air con is on i would say the switch maybe, does the aclaim have climate control? or is it all rotary switched?

i have done an electonic conversion a couple of times and you'll be amazed by the difference, the dizzys i sell are $350 two wires to connect, easy as, better fuel economy better idle easier to rev easier cold start its worth the money if its a daily, would stay away from any twin point set ups...

Is it possible to just upgrade the servo and a boost valve to get a beter shift, or do i have to purchase a B&M shift kit aswell? the gearbox has done a few k's and will be bolted to a new engine with flat top pistons ect ect.. will be adding a small stall aswell. thoughts???

STOLEN VP commodore sedan, Light blue freshly painted, stolen today from currambine train station. Plates start with 9GX, my mates run about car, he's not very happy. if anyone hears or sees anything plz let me know.

my ute is a VP V6 with SS bits and VN group A front bar. its a bitsa, have a set of flat tops wild cam and a few other goodies to go together one day. have heard about the water/ice on cas b4, i have a few second handys in the shed, mid you the price i pay for them migh as well use a new one.

its actually my mates car not mine, have changed fuel pumps before (four times) and have done a couple of CAS, both are easy jobs if your prepaired for them, dont think CAS would be effected by ambient temp as much as fuel pump would, might start there.

VP V6 stalls on a hot day, has only done it twice and it was 40 bot times, the car runs mint the rest of the time, any ideas?

does anyone have the remedy to this problem? i see lots of people with VX are replacing the door strikers that have lost there plastic but the VT has an all metal striker, shoul i put the VX stickers on? would this pull the door in a bit tighter maybe?

VT series one, all doors seam to make a shifting noise while driving, not necasarily over bumps but sometimes, drove a series to VT and noticed it didnt make any such noise, the only difference i could find was the door seal on the door that seals on the body is a felt seal, on mine its rubber...

anyone....?
