Ok took off the rubber seal both sides and bent the metal lugs put the rubber back on and pushed the trim back have have no problems and thanks to those who took the time to read my post cheers

Done exactly as you said solder a heavier piece of wire in heat shrink both end now as good as new now im going to have a go at the power steering in my hj leaking all over the place

Hi noticed your message I have a vs ss that had a slight thumbing noise so I drained the oil by removing the drain plug and bought some limslip by penrite only use penrite oils anyway noise gone now I change the diff oil every 60 to 80 thousand km or 3 trans service to one diff cherrs
