At my 9 month service I advised the dealer that the Mylink in my Calais was not pairing my Wife's iphone 5 every time she used the car. No questions asked. Upgrade noted on the service invoice. Connectivity has been solid AND we just happen to have the famed reverse grid lines.

FYI. When you are registered correctly for the deal, you should receive a letter confirming your details and a set of a sticker for each of the four free services. I got the deal for my Calais last March. Just stuck the stickers on the inside of the service book.

Time does not change automatically. I have literally, pulled in from a trip from Hahndorf to Mildura and return and we had to change the clock manually. (Calais with SatNav)

Or the fuel sloshing in the tank? If I pull up or take of, I can often hear the fuel moving in the tank which can sound like a thump or muffled knock sometimes. A bit annoying, but I'll live with it.

I had a wander around City Holden and noted that all of the VF sedans had a similar issues on the right rear door. All VE sedans in the used area did not seem to suffer the same affliction. I will be taking this further.

Finally found how to switch the puddle lamps on in my Calais. Once they have been turned on, and the doors are opened the foot wells also light up in the front. I have had the car for three months and only now have worked it out.

Just to clarify, my windows phone is doing all the smarts. Mylink is just passing through the receiving and sending of texts via bluetooth. You can hear the difference in voices between the Mylink and windows phone.

Dealer wasn't keen to re align the door as they are worried it will cause door seal issues. The service manager took me around the sales yard and we looked at other VF Calais and SV6s which had similar alignment issues. Perhaps the jigs are out in the factory. Although it is not a huge issue...

Not sure about the idling at the lights but I have noted that my 3.6 bumbles and fluffs a bit on fast idle when it is cold then settles down nice and smooth 500rpm when warm. To turn the climate off, press the fan speed control.

March 2014 build Calais and so far no issues with the climate. Have it set to 22. We have had some warm days and some sub zero mornings in the Adelaide Hills and it seems to do the job.
