Thanks mate I'm thinking injectors but why would it take 4 months to rear its head again? What are the injectors doing to achieve the spark plugs fouling and the O2 sensors failing? Why does it take so long?

I have a 2004 VZ SS Commodore (auto) It's maffless tuned. About 4 months ago the 4 passenger side spark plugs fouled big time because the car was running so rich all of a sudden. I replaced the plugs and O2 sensors and it was happy days. This morning I started the car and left it idling for 15...

All seems to be going ok replacing the 4 spark plugs and the O2 sensors.

I changed 4 spark plugs and the 02 sensors and all seems ok. What should my car be idling at? Maffless tune, 1/78 extractors and 3 inch exhaust all the way through and otr. It's idling now at between 600 and 650rpm I don't know the exact number. But it is the line above 500rpm

7, 5, 3,1 sparkplugs have fouled. 8,6,4,2 are perfect. Need a scan tool now to hopefully work out what the issue is.

I'm still having this problem, not as badly after the fuel filter was changed but when left a day or more without a start, it fires up then the revs drop to the point where it almost stalls. Any other ideas?

Hi Rocket, Throttle body is nice and clean, just noticed the low revs on cold startup 500rpm and occasionally driving down the road from home and turning left and going up the hill to work, the car will lose power momentarily. I think it's the fuel filter.

Thanks Matt, duly noted, I didn't realise it wouldn't fit, Just liked the idea of the filter changes with it.

I'm gonna give the Aeroflow AF610-05 - 30 Micron Billet Fuel Filter 5/16" Barb a crack and see how it goes.

I will look at the fuel filter, wouldn't hurt to change it. The fuel I use is Shell V-Power, Caltex Vortex, BP Ultimate and on the odd occasion Mobil 98. Thanks for the idea with that one ThunderVZ0410.

Super Pro is a good brand, haven't had any issues. The Monroe GT suspension every time I read about it gets a bad wrap, maybe do a search and see for yourself.

Hi Guys, At my road worthy check was a fail today because the fasteners on the front of the drive shaft loose because the coupling has perished. Where can i buy a new coupling and 6 bolts from. I can't find them along with the bolts.

I have a June 2002 LS1 block. Will I have to dremel do you think or will it just be a simple valley cover swap?

My engine has the LS6 intake manifold as I checked the part number, would it also have an LS6 Valley cover on it?

I have a Valley leak so I have to change the seal on it. I am 100% confident I can do the job. Where can I purchase the intake manifold seals and bolts. New bolts and gasket for the valley, seals for the knock sensors and also the O-rings for the injectors?

I was at a car show today and from the back of the engine bay between the top of each shock tower top was a bar. Obviously for stability. What is this bar called and do you use it in conjunction with the sway bar you drop the k frame with? Still learning here and compiling my wish list.

The cam sensor has oil residue all over it and the oil pressure sensor is clean though there is oil around it on the block.

I had a look up the back of the intake manifold and there is oil leaking around the cam sensor just as Sabbath predicted. I am not surprised you are right but blown away by your skills mate:-) does it mean that the valley seal plate needs to be replaced?
