    Low Voltage being provided from a dodgy battery/alternator.... Had the Reg die on the weekend on my VB V6 and on the way home it would flash like once every 10 seconds, was only running on about 8volts.... Having said this, your car probably shouldnt be starting if a dodgy battery or charge...

    yeah nah dont have custom plates... Probably wont get em, so many other places to put 400 bucks, and well you get remembered easier, prolly not a good thing at times... Anyways, maybe in the future ill get VB-3800 still close to standard issue

    Yeah she gets up all right.... im suffering from a leaking rear main at the moment, so once shes back ill get onto that i reckon! But yeah, its very nice to drive, and with the V6 and gears its wierd to go quick and use half the fuel the old red 202 did! lol Dave

    Dont give up on the old girl... Electrics and buttons can be added later on, and whats a head gonna be worth from pick a part or a similar wrecker! You have done so much of the work yaself, so dont give up this early! I say get her goin again and save for something REALLY nice later on...

    Thanks... Its going in to be fixed tomorrow, cos the car is declared modified it needs to be independently assessed and have a pre collision value attached to it as the damage bill is $2000, and normally a VB 202 wouldnt be repaired... But according to the repairer it should go ahead without...

    This would be a step backwards, nothing wrong with the series 2 cooling system.... leaves alot of potential for detailing the engine bay as you can move the coolant reservoir and windscreen washer reservoir inside the guards and the bits and pieces required for the s2 cooling could be picked up...

    Ok well if it has the plate for the kickdown cable it makes your life alot easier as you can use the vn auto and have no probems... however i do believe there is a few small differences in the wiring in the VP as some of the sensors are moved due to the change in the intake manifold... but if...

    The VN box should bolt up to it, however you would need to modify the throttle plate to house the kickdown cable.... as in the VR its electronically controlled thus removing the need for the KD cable.... If you bolted the VN auto to the block, and somehow manufactured a way for the kickdown...

    if its got the VPs style of skirting i think twin dumps look nice and fill the gap well where as if it has the VN style bumper i prefer a VT SS style tip... Either way they all look better then raw... (even though thats what mine is)
