My western star goes 20,000 Klm between oil changes n I get over 1 million klm's from my engine. I'll be following the service schedule for my oil changes. Has anyone done a cost analysis on engine life vs cost of extra expensive oil? Didn't think so.

So far I've had 1 Barina,1 Rodeo and currently VF SS Storm.

I'll throw a spanner in the works n say use Pedders suspension. They have sports Ryder springs at 35mm lower than standard. I think they were $760 fitted. I have them,they are not stupid low n I can get over speed bumps ok.Ride quality isn't any different to standard.

How do u "switch" to competition mode? And I have a SS Storm,no problems at all with steering.

What's with the sump? What does that help? Is it just bolt on?

I like it except when AFM is active,put the foot down and it feels like a 2 second delay before it does anything. Other than that,I like it a lot.

Had mine looked at last week at 3000klm service. Mine was ok.

Same with my wiper motor. Apparently if it stops working,they have spares to fix.but replacements will be done on an "as required" basis until parts are more readily available.

I complained about the wind noise on Friday when I had first service done.The service bloke said "that's normal".What a disgrace,I will be taking it further.Just not real sure how yet.

I think you need to turn on ignition,press accelerator all the way to floor 5-6 times very quickly n that should reset your service indicator lamp on the VF. Never tried it but remember reading it.

Cc really shouldn't be used in the wet.Although these days it's not AS dangerous with traction and stability control.
