Yeah not a wrap, top of windscreen seal looks dried out as well. Screen side mouldings are toast too ( have ordered new ones)

Just bought a 09/17 Red Hot Redline with a black roof which is badly faded & pitted. Anyone else having same issue? Looks like car has spent some quality time outdoors as the black trims on doors & windscreen moulds are toast as well.

Had some issues with mine cutting out over last few months. Had the 45k service done 3 weeks ago & asked them about it, they checked & said it needs replacement. All done no charge, they mentioned an extended warranty on it ( a got it used, no extended warranty mentioned). 05/14 SSV Redline.

Mine usually goes up 1km at a time, but on the odd occasion it will go up by 2km, turn it off goes back to 1km

I've got same issue, SSV Redline too, 05/14 build with only 28ks. Happened twice in a week, then nothing for 3weeks then happened again. Dealer told me still under new warranty as 1st registered 01/15, better get it looked into.

Sounds like what I had, its oil starvation, could be a blocked pick-up, or lots of gunk in engine stopping oil flow back to sump. Someone in an earlier post said the sump can be removed without removing engine, probably need to take valve covers off as well to clean up. An oil flush may not be...

Diffs as far as I'm aware are the same, just different ratios depending on model/engine combo, open or LSD. What ratio is yours now?

I would have thought that a pressure test was better at operating temp rather than cold. But if it looses pressure with no visible leaks it would suggest a blown head gasket.

I have had some Astras, & Barina timing belts done. Holden wanted over $1200 to do it, NRMA motorserve wanted $1100, my local ultratune did them for less than $900. They did my VE battery too.

They should have contacted you before doing any other work on the car, warranties don't cover wear items like brakes, batteries only covered under its own warranty. I've just had a battery change, cost was $245, that was for an upgraded size too. Capped service only covers the basics anyway.
