I found an S1 Redline with the raised spoiler at the wrecker. Boot lid was immaculate, and they only charged me $400. 30 mins to change over and Im stoked.

You cant reset the BCM, you will need to use Canbus LEDs, or plug in a canbus canceller.

No I meant, I picked up the entire boot including raised spoiler for that price. Gave it a good buff and fitted it.

I upgraded mine from the boot lip, to the raised spoiler. It required me to swap the entire boot lid with one from a wreck. They go for $400-$800

So would I run in to any issues if I just fit the headers and cats, but keep the rest of the stock exhaust? Would I need a tune, or have to do anything with the O2 sensorr?

What sort of difference would you see on an LS3 using hurricane headers and cats, vs the stock HSV headers?

Any exhaust shop will change the tips for about $100 all up. Alternatively just pick up a set of SS mufflers (also $100-150) and bolt them on instead. I did it to my SV6, looked great, sounded very mildly improved.

Well its still basically the MY16 SS Black edition specification. Looking back now, I'm extremely glad I got my Oct MY16 Redline when I did, was $54k with extras.

The SV6 Manual was terrible, especially 2nd gear. Luckily it's very different to the V8 box.

This has come up on the forums before. The black roof is sprayed on after the first colour (in my case white), and after the plastic rails are fitted to the car. 90% of the time they spray right over the dust covers for the roof racks and this means you will end up with cracked paint (morons)...

I used black plastidip spray paint. Its non-permanent and so far has come off with a pressure washer (if it does, then your probably using too higher pressure for your paintwork anyhow).

Exhaust = Small Gains, nice note OTR CAI = Small gains in any Tune = Real Gains Exhaust / OTR / Tune = Excellent results, most gains. Personally I would go spend the money on the exhaust first then do an OTR and tune when your ready.

I just use this cheap one on ebay I also have the Torque Pro app.

Its a good price, very simillar to myself. Though I also got some stuff thrown in like mats, towbar, track stripes etc. You might be able to as well.

If you email dealers, you wont get a great price. Sales negotiation is best done face to face, with them thinking that you will buy then and there if they give you what you want.

The 5 year warranty and 1 year insurance was the promotion for October. They have now wound it back to just th V6 range. Just in October I picked up VFII SSV Redline auto with quite a few extras for $54990.

lol thats cute. No not faster, barely louder. Ive done it, and its exactly what Not_An_Abba_Fan said. (Had to make sure its the SS exhaust with the twin outlet not the Y piece). Your better off just getting decent mufflers put on.
