Maybe I'm old school, but I'm a believer of checking where the fuel filler is in a car before driving off, rather than rely on some arrow or fuel gauge placement in the dash telling me where it is and hoping it is actually right.

You can still get them balanced...Ask for stick on weights on the inside of the rim. Make sure you are there if a young one is doing the job to make sure they do use stick on weights on the inside.... These days, it is unusual to have a tubed tyre...Tubeless is the norm....

I have provided a youtube video which explains how to do the test from set up of the multimetre to finding the problem I'd suggest you do the same so people can make their own decision which is the method they prefer.... Oh and it costs about $23 for an elcheapo multimetre from supercheap...

AC fan in car working but air flow is missing when selected

Sounds like some of the control parts are missing. Might be wise to track down a manual so you can go through it all at your own pace

AC fan in car working but air flow is missing when selected

What are you referring to with the directionals? The controls in the middle section of the dash area or he plumbing directing the air flow through the vents?

Don't trust that all the time.... I drove a 2020 or 2021 Transit van and he fuel gauge in the dash was opposite side to the tank....ie gauge was right hand side of the cluster and the filler neck the left side of the van Won't get into cars that have the filler neck in the centre of the back...

    Front wheel bearing question

Snapped ones, a small bolt on the top and hit the bolt with a hammer until they come out The good ones, have a wheel nut flush with the top of the stud and hit the wheel nut with a hammer until they come out.

I am aware places will ask for a deposit for tyres, as alot of suppliers charge the store for returns...And lets face it, that's not a common size, so the chances of onselling quickly is quite slim.....So they'd have to be returned As for full price...Only time I have ever heard someone asking...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Hire up employees are self employed but use hire up as their booking agency, therefore hire up get a small slice of the pie. As for the rate....Haven't used a self employed person in this field, but good chance the NDIS would have a set rate, so people can't rort the system by charging...

    Things that p*** you off/bug you/annoy you

Part of the reporting the NDIS want us to do is report those providers that have 2 seperate fees dependant on whether it is for an NDIS client or a person off the street...The NDIS clients are the ones these providers were charging more for even though they were providing the same service to the...
