Don't think you'd be getting the same ad if Vic has moved away from natural gas..... The ad mentions natural gas can be turned on and off as required to stabilise the power grid, with contact details in the ACT.......

So the Vic gov't has moved away from gas with new builds? Just remember hearing something about it but didn't take a lot of notice over it

If there is an issue registering it in the ACT under your name, why not jump on a bus/train/plane and inspect the car for yourself...From there, head to the rego office, hand over some cash for an unregistered vehicle permit and drive it home.... Pretty sure you should be able to get an...

In my neck of the woods, a company comes along with a truck, a pump and empty barrels and pumps the old coolant and oils into it and takes it away...Where I'm not sure but can find out

Tyres are recycled in S.A.. A company comes and collects them and when they are cut down, they have to be under a certain size. So the collection fee paid by the consumer goes towards the cost of the people collecting them and cutting them up.....They have also been sued as road base in S.A...

To my defence, I haven't had mine calibrated, so there is a distinct possibility it's accuracy may be questionable... :D

Will be interested if our fuel prices come down round that price. Funny thing is, one servo had fuel at 189.9, yet I drove 1 kilometre further on and got it for 183.9.....Both servos are owned by the same person....

I put fuel in my wagon tonight...183.9 for 91....I think it's still on the way down, so I didn't fill it up...

I got a flat tyre on my wagon this morning... I probably need a holiday from here as a result...Didn't get the torque specs for the wheel nuts off here before I did the wheel nuts up on the spare and I drove to and from work without checking them...:eek: Luckily I made it to work and back home...

I have hardened pushrods, guide plates and YT rollers in my blue 6. Been in there for 4 years and still no issues, even with a few 7,000 RPM peaks. Can provide pics on the weekend if needed Sorry going slightly off topic to do with a 355 stroker, but thought I'd add in about guide plates and...

Of the insides....Outside shows nothing.... BTW, I've got no idea what to look for inside a transmission... Get your torque converter done...Better the devil you know than the one you don't

I personally would still have it inspected before parting with cash...We all know, the claims it was from a low mileage car and been in dry storage can be a little stretch of the truth.... ;)

I read @Reaper comments as being, you can go onsite with an appointment with the builder.... Going on site just at will causes many safety issues...And that's one thing a builder doesn't need....Some random hurting themselves by turning up unannounced and walking round like it's a shopping mall...

It's called custom....Any place that does tailshafts can make them....Hardie Spicer are an Australian wide tailshaft specialist

I heard of a burnout car that had the flywheel let go.....End result was the whole transmission tunnel ripped open, back and front window shattered from the flying debris and the passenger with a massive damage to his leg...(Can't remember the exact injuries).... And that was only a 6...

Anyone that has been keeping half an eye on things will know there is a shortage of tradies... So it wouldn't matter if more land was released to construct homes on, there aren't the tradies around to complete the work. I recently heard about one building company advertising, they'll complete...

This sounds like advise people give on here when looking at buying 2nd hand car....Try not to pay too much so there is money in the budget for those unexpected things. But maybe because it's a bike, people are looking differently at it? Who knows..;)
