So I have bought a VF2 Question regarding exhausts. I have had a bi modal LS3 before and loved the sound. I can get my hands on a Manta 2.5" catback and pacemaker headers with hi flow cats for $1300 (VE but pretty sure they fit a VF?) Worthy upgrade? Or just grab the headers n cats for 1k?

I had my old VE S1 calais blaupunkt sitting around for a few years, and just sold it. New owners ve has spat out the security lockout error. I don’t have the pin anymore and some forum comments mention that due to VIN mismatch the code wouldn’t work anyway? Is my only option Holden?

theres a guys selling a set of front APs for a VE here in WA for $800, way cheaper than brembos

to totaly agree mate, but i am not taking her to the track. Just want and upgrade to stock. Stock is ok, just no confidence if i have to brake quickly. Pretty confident T3s on the front withs T2s on the back will alleviate my concerns

Thanks fellas. Managed to pick up a set of basically new front T3s and rear t2s for $350. Will give that a go with good pads and see how it goes. Brembos are going for $1000+ for front calipers. I don’t think its worth it

I was under the impression each key remembers the setting last used ie if you open the car with 1 key, change the settings to what u like (stores FM, doors locks, etc) then lock it with that key, that is the settings it stays on with that key?

I hated my DPE on my 6L Calais. I like the sound if the stock bimodal so picked up a Manta /Pacemaker combo. Similar sounding but better. Gets fitted soon

Pioneer has had it in their units for nearly 3 years. Had one in my VE last year, wireless carplay is brilliant. The Alpine has the hardware but obviously not the firmware to do it. As the the dongle, mixed results in the forums. Seems.to have a lot of connection issues

My issue can't be the facia as I have changed to a AERPRO dual zone fascia for my new head unit. Still the same issue. Have bought a second hand HVAC module so will change that. Otherwise I am stumped.

Thanks Fu Manchu. The actuators appear to be fine, resetting them works 100%. Just loses the middle vents on ignition turn off. So I am guessing its the control module. Also, are the modules the same for S1 and S2?

Fu Manchu, I have looked at your posts, and they have helped me ala the 10 sec demister trick. I cant see any posts regarding my specific issue. Do I need to tune a HVAC module to my car? If not, I can grab a working 2nd hand one for $100 and swap it out myself if this is the likely issue.

Video was released last week mate. I watched it and linked to a mate of mine. Its on their FB page. I cant link it as I am at work and FB is blocked. HUD is the only item they don't show on the video as its not tested with it yet. 20th they claim they will fit and test with HUD model.

Factory climate dual zone is supported. Pretty sure the video shows this? At least it's stated on their website. It's a total replacement head unit but the software have been designed to interface with all of the VFs functions. HUD is the only thing they haven't tested yet as the amount of HUD...
