Another question how should i install the new splits in front? They are alpine s series 6.5 splits. In particular the crossover. Do i use the factory wire that runs to the factory woofer to connect to the woofer than from there run new wire to the alpine crossover then up to alpine tweeter?

I made these tools this morning and had head unit out in about 5 secs. I put head unit back in place now steering wheel buttons dont work any ideas only slid head unit out bout an inch then straight back in. I am spending tonight /tomorrow installing alpine system and hope i didnt stuff...

Yes ditching rear door speakers. No amps just powering off head unit. Amp and sub maybe down the track but not likely. I think it will be good enough just powered off hu.

Putting alpine system in vz commodore sedan no amp just s series 6x9 and splits and a double din head unit. I have to run wire for 6x9 should i also run new wires to front speakers? Or is stock wire ok when powering off head unit? Edit this is the headunit...
