Hi im on VF SS Wagon with 2.5" catback Manta system (Mild steel) with AFM enabled. first 1-2mths, it drones like crazy. now it doesnt. i do not know why. i kinda like the exhaust note for this system. as i wanted something subtle. Just sharing.

In the b pillar, there's a connector plug for the seat belt sensor. The connector is knocking against the body frame. U may wanna check urs. It solved the similar rattle I had. But unfortunately I have another rattle in the same area that just surfaced.

Just had it checked at the exhaust shop. The fitment was perfect. More than enough clearance all round. Nothing was rubbing. I guess J pipes are my next option. Anywhere in WA to recommend? The shop that fitted my exhaust had no clue wat j pipes are

Appreciate all the suggestion n comments. Will definitely visit the exhaust shop sometime soon to get it sorted out. Im leaning more towards the fact that its rubbing against something. I can feel the car vibrating while cruising. To the point where by i can feel it through the throttle.

followed all the above steps but the door panel still seem to be fixed to the door. any idea where went wrong? i already unclipped all the clips in the bottom half of the door. are there any clips along the topside of the door?

Finally found the cause of the rattling noise! it is the seat belt sensor adaptor that is knocking against the B pillar. Its kinda like your VGA cable size adaptor. managed to stuff some damping material around and the noise is gone... let me know if you guys are interested in how to do...
