Hey mate was the second paragraph in reply to my comment because my car just got checked with a tether-scope and they said noise is coming from the top and could be block gallery's like you said

Sorry about all the messages guys. The boys at my sisters fiancés work put a tether-scope all over the engine and at the bottom and said the noise is coming from the top and might be a blocked gallery. What you think?

And the noise I wt isn't every revolution and te knocking is completely Random maybe one knock then 4 then 2. So I don't know?

Okay thanks mate. The tick sounds like its coming from the front of the engine? Don't know if its the timing chain or something else. And could the vibrating just be something loose in the engine? sounds like its coming from the right hand side of the engine bay.
