FE2 is no more. The VE has a totally new suspension setup.

Our VZ's at work already have data recorders in them (kinda like a black box recorder). When the company first put them in there were a few sackings after blokes were found to be driving at 160 and above. At the time we did not know they were installed. There hidden in the car.

Im pretty sure if you pay the extra $250 it will be an upgrade to a full size spare, you wont be buying the fullsize as well as a space saver. When you upgrade you fries you dont get large and regular together. :thumbsup:

daron, can you give me a qick run down on the wiring for the speedo and tacho. Like where the resistors were, how many LED's, where was the power source was conected to etc. Sorry im an electronics noob. :thumbsup:

A 5 speed wont naturally have P.R.N.D.4.3.2.1 on it. I do think the base model might still have the 4 speed though. It just doesnt look like a base model with the woodgrain.

With the wood grain in the dash, I think its more of a Berlina spec model and nowhere do those pictures prove its a 4 speed.

Mate I agree with alot of what you said but if you bothered to research you would notice the VE is going to weigh alot more than the VZ, so 200kw isnt going to make the VE a tyre frying beast.

Well a Monaro front end fits straight onto a Commodore (my mate has done it) so it will work the other way around. You will need the front bumper, fenders, bonnet and headlights.

Your right. The only Holden with a twin exhaust so far is the Monaro. Hes is half rigth though, it is a VY.

Thats in the VX series 2 until the VZ. If its a VX series one (they have a different indicator stalk) you have to push the big button putting it on stanby and then press the small + button to turn it on. Im suprised you havnt worked it out by now Hairy Eater.

The current daewoos are shyt because they where designed before the GM takeover. Holden have had to start using them because of the cost of the opels. Rumour has it the GM 6 speed will be used in the lower spec V8's like the SS while the ZF 6 speed will be used in HSV's etc.

Dont use a wire brush. After taking the throttle body off, keep spraying into the plenum and eventually all the gunk comes out. Just have a rag under the hole so the the rocker covers dont get a coat of carby cleaner. To clean the throttle body its the same. You dont need to scrub it, just...
