That is supposed to be a T-Connector.
The straight ahead pipe is for the vacuum operated vents. Should be connected to a hard pipe next to the heater hose.
The T-piece (which is flattened and bend over in the photo) goes to the vacuum reservoir/ball under the right front guard.

Are you sure they are VL and not VK? We printed a couple out as tests. They have a sharp corner (like the VK) and are thinner than the ones on my VL Berlina.

I looked to trade in the Adventra for a Craptiva. The Adventra had held some value.
Missus said "no way keep the Adventra", which she loved. Got an extended warranty and fought with the dealer for another 3 years.
