What's a good replacement head unit for VYII with Bluetooth?

Guys, I wanna replace the head unit in my VY with something that has Bluetooth. What are your recommendations for something reasonably priced with Bluetooth? Preferably something that'll go in without any fluffing around, and work with the steering wheel buttons... Cheers,

ZB holden made for Australian conditions ???

They've been using space saver spare wheels since VY. Nothing new there. Having spent the extra on a premium model, I was pretty upset when I found that mine didn't have a full size spare alloy in the boot... and even more so when I found that my wife's '06 Honda Accord did!

    HELP VB missing

Get some new leads. Silicone ones. The original leads on red motors were made from carbon, and were prone to cracking causing the exact symptoms you've described. It is unlikely that you have a set of these on there... but in any case, that's where I'd start. These ones are $25...

    HELP VB missing

The PCV will rattle at idle... it probably doesn't have anything to do with your problem.

    HELP VB missing

Some things you can check: - Ignition points & rotor - Ignition timing - Distributor advance springs - Spark plug gaps - Ignition coil - Carby gaskets - Vacuum hoses - look for cracks - HT leads From the symptoms, I'd say its more an ignition problem than fuel.

No More Harrier Service At Dealerships?

"Minor engine tune" "Reset timing" "Adjust fuel/air settings" "Adjust idle speed" Are we back in the 1970s? None of these tasks have been necessary for at least 30 years. The ECM is constantly making these adjustments while you drive. I'm surprised they haven't "Greased ball joints, steering...

SV6 VF (2013) Commodore has a lot more power when starting up.

Absolutely. It's the modern equivalent of the choke. In case you're too young to know what a choke is (i.e. Gen Y/Millenial) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choke_valve

    Calais V - V6 vs V8

It is possible to enjoy a V6 :) ... 210kw/350Nm is a good amount of power & torque. They're a very responsive engine. I'm almost in the same situation (I bought my V6 in Nov last year and have just ticked over 10,000km)... but sitting at 8.9l/100km... and I use 91RON. That said, fuel is just...

    Calais V - V6 vs V8

Right, but that's $20 each way for a single trip... that'll certainly add up over the life of the car.

    Calais V - V6 vs V8

Go the V6. Drove to Adelaide from Melbourne in the mid-summer heat with a/c on the whole way, a full boot and the whole family on board... it used 51 litres to do 760km. They're a great engine. The only thing that annoys me is that it sounds like a sewing machine. Otherwise, it has better...

VF V6 - How to unclip PCV hose?

Guys, I have a VF V6 with about 90k on the clock. I've read that PCV on the right bank of these engines can be dodgy due to the holes in the pcv valve being a little too small... so I thought I'd remove the hose and see if I have the later pcv valve which has bigger holes. Problem is, I can't...

    Aftermarket SatNav for VF

Cheers guys. I'm looking for an in-car GPS which can integrate with the stock head unit. What's the best way to go? Should I try to find a genuine one?

    Aftermarket SatNav for VF

Hey Guys, I just bought a VF Calais (non-V). Its a very nice car, but the lack of a GPS is a little disappointing. Has anyone had experience with the aftermarket kits which are selling on ebay? The one I'm looking at has the iGo Primo GPS... is this any good? Otherwise, what are your...
