The series 2 has the L77 in manual or auto and has the AFM/DoD in the engine. It is just disabled in the manuals. I have done 8000+km so far and it is quite noisy at times. I'm hoping that some decent oil instead of whatever holden put in will fix it.

Yes, I found that with the VY II SS 6m I had also, the computer always said it was worse than it was. Could be that it is a guestimate based on an inaccurate fuel pickup in a constantly moving tank of juice...or could be the servo's bowsers are short changing me?

not quite...it is 25-30% driveline losses going from the engine to the wheels...so for example a stock 270fwkw - 25% losses = about 202rwkw. This is a VERY rough guide though. You can't directly compare any gains by using an OTR, exhaust etc. to the flywheel quoted figures from the factory...

The Redline series is no different, engine wise, to any other SS, SSV or CalaisV V8. (the manual will gain an extra 10kw or so and 17nm or whatever it was over an auto). I'd guess it's around 230rwkw ish with a tune (stock everything else)... from the factory i'd guess it'd be closer to 210rwkw...

Complete KPM 3" (1 3/4 Ceramic coated) is going on next Monday :D Then off to Protek straight after to drop it a bit with some SSL's & Monroe GT shorty's :D
