From memory I think it is attached with plastic clips, you should be able to pull it straight up and it will come out. Tony.

I removed the foot rest, had the alloy plate upside down on the bench, put sikaflex on the plate, sit the footrest on the plate and put some weight on the footrest untill it is dry, turn the whole lot over and fill the slots in the alloy plate with sikaflex. Tony.

When I changed mine, I used sikaflex to glue the alloy plate to the footrest and then filled the slots in the plate. To change the peddle pad on the brake, remove the rubber pad from the brake, sepperate the rubber and alloy parts, fit the new rubber pad to the brake peddle than refit the alloy...

I do not know about the switch itself but the back lighting is different between models, eg, my young blokes 2010 SSV has red back lighting and my 2011 SS has white lighting. Tony.

I do not know the answer to your question but I am thinking that the drivers might need the memory module to be able to make it work. Is the original seat electric? Because if is you may be able to swop the rails from your old seat to the new seat and get it working, Or see if you can rewire...

Try a wreckers they might be able to sell you PVC hose that you can carefully cut the hard plastic pipe away from the fitting and then attach the new hose to the fitting. When I fitted my OTR I did a similar thing to the breather, I cut the hard plastic pipe off the fitting and used a stainless...

When you had the battery checked did the alternator get checked also to make sure that it is charging at the correct rate? Tony.

May I suggest charging the battery with a battery charger and seeing what the effect is on the indicated charge and how long it takes to discharge. Tony.
