I have not been able to work out how they choose which vehicles get a painted black rear insert. We have a redline, which has a painted insert, but have seen other redlines without it painted, and SV6's with painted ones too.

Looks like it may be filliform corrosion. Only occurs with coated aluminium I believe.

Don't accept them telling you that it is a "normal" sound. We have an April 2015 Redline sedan, and it does not, and has never had this noise. 15,000kms.

The washers go inbetween the rubber block and the car. I ended up taking the whole hanger off, as I couldn't just slip it out. Not sure if the calais have the same type of connection. The redline has a cone type connection, that is secured with one clamp.

Tips are larger than the stock mufflers, and fill the cut out in the bumper a bit better, and stick out slightly further. Looks so much nicer.

Yeah, I don't know exactly how it works either, but when I had the first muffler removed, I started the car up and it was way louder than with the Marriage Saver fitted.

I have fitted them to my Redline. The sound it gives is awesome. The only problem is that it drones when AFM kicks in. This was the reason I got the Marriage Savers, was to avoid the drone. Awaiting a response from Rapid Exhaust.

Be interested to hear other comments on this aswell. We had a similar thing happen to us, where items we had set, such as passive entry, door chime, etc, had changed after we set them. The only thing we could put it down to, was maybe we used the other key fob.

Probably the auto headlights switching on. Try turning it off auto, and you should get full brightness until you physically turn on your lights.

Have a look on ebay for wheels. Should be able to pick some up cheap. Maybe even in the classifieds here.

We've just had the boot lid on our Redline replaced with one with a rear wing. With the lip spoiler, the boot lid would lift by itself once the button ws pushed. Now with the larger wing on, it has to be lifted manually. Just wondering if those that have a rear wing, have a lid that...

Probably best off to give a windscreen replacement mob a call, I would think they would be the same. The bodies are still pretty much the same, just cosmetic changes AFAIK.

Hmmm. Looks like we didn't get quite as good of a deal as what I thought we got. Ended getting a VF SSV Redline with a few extras for $60,380 - Driveaway. It was the best deal we could get in our area, and even on the commodore website, just a standard redline was coming in at $59,990...
