SV6 tower brace Here's mine, 05PlatedSV6 is right about AC hose, a gentle bend gets it out of the way.

No nuts with bar, look like M10 but didn't check, selected nuts from loose ones I had by trial and error. Fitted with spring washer but nyloc may be better. Seems to have better steering response and feel but had front end realigned at same time as was wayyy out (see other thread I started).

Strut brace to SV6 Just fitted one to SV6 and clearance is OK, about 20-25 mm. Cost $48 at local Holden dealer. Now to go for a bit of a drive.

V6 as well or V8 only? Same question, does the bar have enough clearance over the V6 or is it a V8 option only?

No problems here, nearly 30,000 km and box shifts fine all ratios. Have had it jump out of gear on very rough roads twice but wouldn't call that a fault. Driven some better any many worse. Better than VX1 S 5 speed of old car anyway but suppose that wouldn't be difficult.
