hello, i have a vt s/c ecu and harness with a mace tuned memcal for vy with vats turned off. can i fit all this into my vy ute and can anyone on here please help me with a wiring diagram for the 3 plugs on the harness the go to the drivers side? all help would be greatly appreciated.

Only put this up as no one anywhere has explained how to do it and there is no info anywhere. Just thought people would get use out of this instead of people just saying that they have done it but cant show diagram or anything

I have done the vy dash conversion and have solved the hazard switch problem. What you will need: Some spare wire. 2 x relay (9923). The only down fall to this is the indicators still works with ignition off but is a definite fix.

Hello, just wondering if anyone has a picture of the back of the hazard switch plug (the plug with the wires), i need to see which wire goes to which pin.

Yeah bro thats where it goes to and the other pipe that comes off that sensor goes to the carbon canister.

Hey guys, just wondering could i cut the 2 alloy pipes that come from the steering rack (the ones that go to power steering pump and filler bottle) and replace with p/s hoses. I know one line is high pressure but if i flare the ends of the cut off pipes they should hold right?

Just wanted to know if i put a b&m shifter in my car will it pass roadworthy?

Hello, just wanted to know how much is involved in putting in vt motor and box into vr statesman. I have complete vt car (only stripping out cos chassis is stuffed) and the statesman has the earlier 3800 not ecotec.

Thank fellas, ive got cai for it already and ive just put in another thermo fan at the front and will be definitely getting a 180°c thermostat then. I might look into getting some holes put into some l36 heads aswell. Cheers.

Hey guys, just stripped my motor down and found that both heads have cracked between the valves on every one. The car has ran fine and hasn't ever over heater once, how much would it cost to fix or would i better off finding a replacement set. And the heads are off l67.

Hey guys, went to change my steering rack from a variatronic steering rack to a standard rack when i found out the you have to change some of the steering column. Well just letting you all know that the pinion shaft and housing are interchangeable on both racks so there was no need to change...

Hello ive got a l67 in a statesman and the coupling has worn out in it, ive taken the supercharged belt off so i dont do anymore damage. my question is will it be still fine to drive without the supercharger belt on as ive got to drive it about 6hrs to get it home where i can fix it.

Hey fellas, im taking motor and manual t5 gearbox out of a vs ute and putting into sedan, will the ute tail shaft fit into the sedan or will it be to long or will the sedan (that was fitted with an auto) tail shaft be ok to use

Ive done what your about to do. It is abit of a big job if you don't know what your doing. I swapped out everything mate, the most time consuming is the heater box ( whole dash has to come out, which you have to do anyway), and putting the drivers side wiring loom through the fire wall and yes...

Have a look at cam sensor, tps and maf. I read somewhere that a guy had similar problem so he changed these 3 things and fixed problem. (Definitely look at cam sensor) hope this might help mate

Just while this is still going. Could i use my L3 loom and cluster without using climate control. (meaning just have standard heater box controls). I only ask as ive got climate control module but dont really want to change heater unit out again i just want L3 cluster.

Mate you'll need L3 dash wiring loom, high bcm, drivers side wiring loom which runs through the fire wall into cabin and some other bits (but can't quite remember atm). I done it in my ute awhile ago and it was a pain, i hope you have a donor car.

Good to hear that you got it back in mate, and yes that air con gas is very poisonous i found that out when i worked for toyota.
