    Track Day VE SS

I'm getting my VE SS ready for a track day and i need tow points front and back. On my other cars there are factory points in the front bumper and hook/loop under the rear that satisfy scruteneering. I don't have a tow bar and i can't seem to find any information or examples online. I can buy a...

Coil overs for my VE SSV.

J_D 2.0 I had the exact same issues as you, I got the basic MCAs with 9kg front and 10kg rear. I have the dampening set to softest for daily driving and the ride is same as factory. I just jack up the rear at the diff and i can adjust the rears a few millimeters without removing the wheels...

Hi All, I'm getting the Alternator Error come up on the dash. I've taken the below steps to fix it but im still getting the error and some voltage drop. master cylinder in hsv e1 with ap racing calipers

They came out surprisingly good and i re-sprayed them semi gloss black to seal the bare metal etc. Part of the discs are exposed so i will definitely replace them with the correct fitting plates when i eventuality need to replace the wheels bearings

    Wheel Alignment

Yep Chris at Inline is definitely the best but he doesn't seem to be available anymore? I went with Garage76 after a few recommendations and am actually very happy with the alignment. The MCA's are great i would def recommend them, i have the Street Essentials and they have a great ride but...

Clicking when engaging and releasing clutch pedal

How many k's on your clutch? My SS has 220K on the original clutch and its starting to make a constant clicking/ticking noise when i'm just sitting idling in neutral, if i hold the clutch down it stops. I also have the clutch pedal not retracting issue when i drive it hard, when i replace it...

VE SS Suspension upgrade Spring/Shock vs Coilovers

MCA's sound good, i think a call to them would be a good start and I agree that suspension components need to be setup properly to suit the vehicle to work. I'm running VF SS 19inch wheels with the standard size tyres etc. I have a mate who just installed KYB shocks with King springs in his SS...

VE SS Suspension upgrade Spring/Shock vs Coilovers

Hi All, my VE SS now has 220k and the original suspension and its feeling tired. I want to lower to SSL height all round but i can't decide between a Spring/Shock vs Coilovers option. I've been going over the pros and cons of each and i would like some some peoples experience from coilovers in...

Looking for radio and Aux input help

Yep its just to stream music and charge my phone with minimal modification, its the cheapest option i could find for now. You can control the volume from the steering wheel but thats about it, my phone sits in a cradle within reach of the drivers seat.

    Front Strut mounts

I replaced my flogged out standard with superpro in my SSV sedan about 6 months ago, i definitely notice they are firmer but far from harsh and am very happy with them. Few weeks ago replaced a mates SSV ute strut mounts with KYB rubber mounts and its hard to tell any difference between the...
