FYI, I've got a redline, so there's a physical NAV button on the console where there would normally be the play/pause button.

Anyone know how to pause/play bluetooth via the mylink system on a VFII? I haven't managed to figure it out and use the controls on my android phone. Would much rather use a voice command/steering wheel button/touch screen instead.

I've got what sounds like a very similar problem that's started recently in my VF2 redline. At about 80km/hr and upwards, I hear a whistling/leaking air sound coming from the door seal immediately beside my right ear. Did Holden fix any of the issues for you guys?

Or put his music onto a USB stick, multiple ones if necessary. You just have to convert his CDs to mp3s and copy them to the USB drive(s).

Interesting about the responsiveness and fuel consumption. I don't think I noticed the negatives that you had mentioned, although I didn't run the thing back to back as you did with cruise control (BTW, good idea). The 'internet' does seem to agree with the fact that lower exhaust back pressure...

Well that sounds like a good idea. I already have a Ryobi ONE+ driver. I'll probably give the blower a shot. The newer lithium 18V batteries pack quite a punch and last a long time. Thanks for all of your tips!

Here are some more pictures from today. All of my washes so far have been 'touchless', only been using hoses and pressure washers. I think the opticoat is doing its magic.... You can see the asphalt in the reflection.

I think the blacked out trim works well on the white and the silver. The rest work better with the chrome, especially the black.

Very nice! I was tossing up between the silver and the white, both with the black trimmings and the HF-20s too. Both look great. I also went with the black roof. Was that available as an option in the silver?

I'm umm'ing and arrgh'ing about dropping it too, I like the way yours looks. Have you had any 'negative' issues since getting it lowered? Has the ride become stiffer or firmer?

I got my black HF-20 rims opticoated (as well as the rest of the car and the calipers) and the rims are definitely glossy. I'll get some pictures up when I can.

Just pull the relay out if you want it open all of the time (regardless of the MyLink setting). If you still have the relay in and the bimodal on (in MyLink) it will only be open during idle or over ~3000rpm. One thing that I liked was the sudden surge in sound when it opened up when driving it...

Firstly enable the exhaust in MyLink, turn off the car, unplug the relay. Done. It should now be open all the time.

I really doubt this will happen because only the HSV Senator and the GTS pair get this in Australia.

I was tossing up between the silver or the white, both with black out'ed bits and ended up with the white. The blue is very nice though! I've also seen a black one with the original chrome bits, that was nice too. Keeping it clean would be a tough job though :)

Not annoying to me. Slightly deeper and your don't here the sudden change of sound when the RPMs climb over 3.5k. Just give it a shot, not much to lose :)

Well I just pulled out the R10 relay. Its the black one in boot with the following ID numbers printed on it (well at least it was on mine): 13500128 and 0248 The green ellipse below is where the relay 'was'. Afterwards I started the car and I'm quite certain it sounded louder. I'll find out...

I've read in other places (ls1forums) that its permanently opened, which seems about right even at low revs from my experience. When I switch off the bimodal in mylink, I can definately hear a difference even at low RPM. What are your thoughts?

Definitely thinking about lowering it. I'm just wondering if anyone has lowered a VFII redline yet because the I think that there was a slight revision between the VFI and the VFII and I'm too chicken **** to be the guinea pig. I know this was done and tested on the GenF HSV cars, but I'm not...

Sounds like a V8 should IMO. The VFI just didn't sound right. I wonder if its possible to have the bi-modal open all the time...?
