If the EST is playing up then all the very best of luck to you. I had a similar problem with my EFI model and last resort was to swap out the EFI ECU. Boom - started straight away. Should have started with my last step first.

If the history doesn't add up and if you can store it for a while and then let people come and pull out a few bits and pieces they want, you'll probably get you money back pretty quick. Or, you can pull out the more valuable bits and flog them off. Then flog whats left for scrap
