Horn issue has been fixed, fan issue isn't too important at this moment, but my head unit install has annoyed me. Wired up correctly, but has now stopped functioning completely.

Head unit has one adapter/harness, Also got the VT Aeropro harness, but the in-dash wires have no harness/loom etc. It is just a rough collection of loose/stripped wire ends. The VT harness has only one extra wire which the jvc harness doesn't have (phone mute wire as far as I can tell)...

The way it was set up when I got it is as described above... The fans only came on when the engine was on, not at any other time. I only need a temporary fix, until I can afford/arrange to correct whatever is wrong with my fan system.
