    I did look at this, but can’t really find reviews, so am nervous. It’s a big margin between Circle D’s claims and the figures here from builders; which def sows some seeds of doubt.

    i hear you re the auto…it’s a bit of a nightmare. Either spend a fortune on a 6l90 and have it rebuilt or go a 4l80. I’m not keen on a 4l80 in a daily with freeway k’s. I contemplated an tr6060 swap, but it just seemed too hard.

    Thanks for the tip. I’m currently looking at doing Dart block with forged internals good for 1500; so we can really turn it up in the future!

    Yep, on a hub dyno and way more than i expected too! Intercooled with a 12l coolant reservoir to help keep it cool. Though it is looking like I’ve done a lifter…the tune is def pushing the old l77 to its limits

    In my car (blown l77) the difference is nearly 100hp. On the dyno it showed 705hp on 98, 785hp on e60, so guesstimating 800hp on e85. In a boosted engine it’s fantastic!

    I second the 12l reservoir and 8pk belt, though I’m only running an 80mm pulley. A mate runs the interchiller system on his ls3 with a 2300 and swears by it.

    Mate, i hear you, but we all know the rules and I’ll bet the vast majority of modded cars that should be engineered, aren’t. I’m sure Kelly can speak with any installer/tuner worth their salt about engineering mods and they will be able to steer them in the right direction.

    Hi Kelly, I’m in the ‘Gong too and Kon @ WAS has done most of the work on my car and is still doing upgrades and tuning, I’ve been talking to him about the 2650 as well. I also spoke with Russo a couple of weeks back and they told me $16k for a 2650, drive in drive out. Food for thought.
