Makes sense but mine is tuned for 98 only also it started 3 months from new until Holden swapped injectors lasted year and a half and 30000ks and now starting issue is back

Yeah the L77 is a tappy motor. But with mine doesn’t explain why it went away for a year and a half and then starting issue came back

I only use Caltex 98 as it is tuned but it started 3 months from new then went away after Holden swapped out the injectors as they failed but it seemed to not do it after that now 30000ks later it has started again but Holden tells me it didn’t start rough for them so they letting it sit for 2...

Idles fine after about 5 seconds or so

Can anyone explain why my car does this when sitting for 2 days it also does this when parked over night but not as bad. It does not have a cam upgrade either

Can anyone recommend any where in QLD to supply and fit a catch can on my VF L77 motor preferably a elite one or better Cheers

Don’t quote me but I am pretty sure they changed to Siemens and these are the problem ones

The injector issue was with all VF V8s as far as I am aware 2015 on as mine is the L77 motor they replaced 2 injectors then had to go on waiting list for the rest which they did but my belief is a couple have failed again waiting to find out as they have the car now for power steering recall

Yeah it was done under good will but they have only lasted about 30,000ks and about year and a half but car goes in tomorrow for power steering recall so they will be looking at it tomorrow

Has anyone had all there injectors replace and had them fail again my rough starting issue is back and thinking the injectors are stuffed again this is on a VF SS Ute 2015 L77 motor

Mine were done under warranty and I have full exhaust and otr plus tune

The seized one is drivers side wouldn’t that be a 420 code the one that keeps coming up is 430

Yeah u can’t swap post and pre cat sensors as they are different

I replaced with genuine sensors but as u say swap passenger to drivers the p0430 is passenger side issue also I tried to do that pryer to paying for a second o2 sensor and I can’t remove drivers side front sensor even with the right tool as it’s jammed

Okay. Well just spoke to a fitter at work the hoses do have movement it’s normal so now I have no idea why my car starts rough for 10sec like it wants to stall it’s worse after sitting for 2 days bugging me to no end

I think that hose I’m talking about gets changed when they put a super charger on don’t they

Okay cool my thinking is the hose looks like a vacuum hose and with that much play it is sucking air on the cold start up as it’s changing the fuel to air mixiture to from what it should hints the rough idle on cold startup but my friends one doesn’t move at all just a thought

I have to run 98 octane as it is tuned and it never had a cold starting issue for the first 25 thousand ks

When I park my car on Friday it will sit till Monday then when I start it it starts as rough as dogs b---- only does this when it sits for 2 days anyone have any ideas it's a 2015 SS UTE.
