Hi all need new seat covers for my Ute. Have had original ones on since new in 2010 supplied by dealer. Would love to get these again but not available. Any suggestions for which ones to get that will last cheers all

The one on the left looks the same as mine. 2010 ve ute with sports bar and tonneau cover

Thanks lout not sure of which one was used but he said it checked everything only had one old code there. PS I trust him very good mate he thought it would throw a code after being in limp mode

Hi all my 2009 sv6 ute went into limp mode on way home today. Dash flashing check engine, car missing badly and wouldn't go above 30 klm. So I pulled over turned car off and restarted and all was fine for rest of drive home. Got car scanned this arvo and no codes came up. Any one have any ideas...

Just received some through ebay site ozcarparts. Delivery was good about a week $52 delivered. A lot of places have run out of stock

Just an update started ute this morning first time since friday and warning didn't come up. Mechanichad another look over and couldn't see anything wrong. Will see how it goes over next few days. Thanks all

Thanks blackvxgts i have pressed the trip button and yes it removes the large flashing brake light in the centre but small brake light is still on to the right of centre and stays lit cheers

Hi all Hoping someone might be able to help. I started my 2009 sv6 ute this morning and brake warning light was flashing on the centre cluster. I checked fluid level was all good so drove it to mechanics got it scanned but no codes came up they had a quick look around as didn't have much time...

Thanks for all the replies just checked book oil is (Castrol saf carbon modified sae 75w/85 api gl5 gm) can i get this in penrite as i only use penrite engine oil cheers

Yes understand that . In diysv6's post he mentioned holden warranty till 2020

I doubt he had to pay for the extended warranty holden did a 5 year warranty in mid 2015 which would mean it runs out 2020

Thanks trev i only looked at harness originally thats why i took it to mechanics as i didn't have test light. I will see how it goes over the next few days but i now think it can't be the actuator as it is now working

Update. Went to my local mechanic to put test light on it which showed power to actuator. So he said must be actuator. No problem will order one in. Then when i get home the boot is working as normal maybe it might of been from sticking probe into the terminals. ?

I have had the car since new i don't think i need to answer this question thanks anyways. :rolleyes: will have a better look tomorrow

Thanks sir les. I checked fuse all good. I also had a look at actuator all looked good plug was in tight. So i am thinking i might need a new actuator

Hi all first time on ve foroums i have been on the vf one though. Just bought a ve sv6 ute just wondering if anyone nows if the key fob can be changed to one like the vf were the key folds into the fob.. the ve one doesn't it's just a lot easier with the vf one in your pocket. Cheers all

I wouldn't bother with Newcastle holden i tried there with no success. So i rang hcc and they rang them for me and said they couldn't even get any help from them. They booked me in to kelly,s at cardifff no problem.

Sorry to hear your problems mate. Maybe just drop the car off at your local dealer and tell them it is unsafe to drive i could cause an accident. Tell the dealer to let holden know you don't want the car back until it is safe to be on the road, it has a recall for the problem so let them know...

Hi all just got car back from dealer after recall for the power steering. All seems good. Took all day and they drove the car for 6 klms which i queried them on. They said it had to be driven a fair bit to check everything was fine and the wheel alignment was good. No wheel alignment needed and...

On my letter it said parts are now available. So just rang local dealer and he said parts are not in yet maybe next week. Also said it should take about 4 hrs just to replace the wiring and realignment no rack replacement.

Hi all i just received the letter today that parts are ready. Does anyone know how long they need the car for.
