VS Commodore starting (over-cranking)

Cheers guys it seems to be getting better, it may have been because it wasn't being used as often as it it now?!

Hi all, When ever I start my VS it tends to take a while to start eg. cranks for 5-8 seconds... Would anyone be able to tell me what could be causing this?! Thanks in advance. (ps. i has recently had the starter motor replaced with new so shouldn't be that!) Cheers. vsADL
