acctually even when you lower a car you may need to replace shocks it.s not about holding springs in it's about the travel of the shock absorber. If it is a standard shock absorber then it will run out of travel and not do it's job same happens when you lift a car.

I had the same problem with my auto i just adjusted the auto linkage and now i've had no problems. just jack up the front of your car and make sure everything is tight and adjusted correctly. It's not the immobiliser otherwise the light wouldn't go off. Hope this helps

yeah i'm going to get one for my car.they are pretty good bang for buck especially if you do the brackets yourself. Make sure that it is the SC14 not SC12 though. SC12 can't pump enough air into the motor.

i've got the same prolem with the sound getting messed up with my system. it happened when i changed my headunit over. I checked all the wiring and the earth points and they were fine. Maybe i need a cap? My h/u is an alpine 9857 i think something like that.

Thanks sounds like the 180 thing is the go. I adjusted the gains and all that bussiness a while ago and it sounds great with the boot up. It's just when the boot goes down. Thanks for the help.

Hi i've got a problem with my setup. I seem to lose all the bass from my sub when i put my boot down. I've got the sub facing into the back seat. i don't know if that's got any thing to do with my problem. :thumbsup: thanks

so with a mono block with 2x200 ( for instance) you would be able to hook up a dual cone subwoofer. is that correct. Seems topical but i'm new at the sound game and sometimes it gets confusing. thanks

Holden has designed the whole car from the ground up haven't they? I know wat your saying about the omega though. But i also thought that they only borrowed the design and modified it for the VN and VT models. before the VN holden was designing the body from scratch.

ok i pulled out the HU again and checked the rca's seems to have fixed the prblem i guess that is wat happens when you have too squeeze all that wiring into that hole.

I just installed a new alpine cda 9857 in my vr. I got it crankin with some metal and i got it up to about 25 volume and it seemed like the sub just cut out. i got splits in the front so it goes all treble. is there a limiter in the head unit. Thanks???????

I was just wondering which of the alpine range is better i.e is type R better or worse than type S? I also saw a type X sub on ebay. i can't seem to figure it out
