    I had the opposite experience, compared to my SS it was night and day difference in power. Stock low 12s qtr mile for an LSA is pretty darn good if you ask me.

    Exactly what timandhayley has said in his many posts on this and other forums that there is no margin in the metal so there isn't much negotiation away from RRP.

    It is the laws of supply and demand, basic economics - high demand and low supply = higher prices as people are forced to take what they can get.

    How are you exactly helping people when they come on here asking for a price and you give them some bs about SFA margin on the car and tell them to buy at RRP as there isn't enough supply. You are just artificially inflating the price. Oh and I wonder how many PMs you've had that have resulted...

    This is coming from timandhayley who once said they make more money from the finance deal than the margin on the actual car. I smell dealer bs if you ask me, how can you explain the 285 S1 still for sale then. Go peddle your inflated prices elsewhere or at least get your dealership to sponsor...

    Quick search on carsales.com has 165 new V8s for sale at the moment 60 of which are redlines, seems like plenty of stock to me. Add to that there are another 285 new S1 V8s listed also.

    Reading through the thread I have noticed people paying $60 K for a S2 Redline, my question is Carsales.com have a heap of HSV Clubsport R8s going for 60-65K why not get that instead? The HSV seats look much better, 20" rims, 340 kw, bi-modal intake, headers, better brakes, LED tail lights...
